Our favorite fast rapper, one half of The Chicharones, a cornerstone in the Northwest collective Oldominion, and the nicest guy ever. Sleep has just released his brand new full-length solo album “Oregon Failure“. The new album is a definite stand out in Sleep’s catalog with appearances from Ceschi, Pigeon John, Tony Ozier and Oldominion crew members; Onry Ozzborn, Nyqwil, and XPerience. Whether you want his signature double time raps, or some smoothly sung harmonies, there’s a vibe on this record for everyone. Check out the official video for the first single “Sinking Ships” below. In June Sleep will be joining sexy Strange Famous front man Sage Francis and B. Dolan. Check out the tour dates on his website, and while you’re there grab the CD with a t-shirt or hoodie: SLEEPISBEAST.COM

The Chicharones have been quiet for some time as both Sleep and Josh work on pushing their new solo projects. However, in the midst of it all the duo put together this anthem for the Portland Trail Blazers who have made it into the NBA Playoffs and advanced to the second round for the first time since the 1999-2000 season. Let the Chichi’s get you hyped up! This is Rip City!
