Brass Tackz Remix Contest

Brass Tackz may be a rag-tag team of hip-hop misfits, but something about it seems to be working: with over 5000 downloads of their free EP “The Outfit” within the first week of release, Young Sin, Snak the Ripper and Evil Ebenezer are spreading their dirty sound from Vancouver to the rest of the world. The trio combined on Camobear Records in 2009, and the smooth sounds of Sin, raspy ramblings of Snak and dark tones of Evil have drawn attention: the boys have 2 million Youtube hits, 280 street teamers worldwide and have played over 300 shows in the past year and a half. Hot off a tour with RA the Rugged Man and with an upcoming tour of Spain, the group continue to hustle their murky melodies on both the local and global stage.

Here is your chance to get the shine you deserve. Brass Tackz are looking for some remixes. Are you up to the challenge? Within this message is a link to download all, yes ALL of the original tracks vocal stems. Take them, remix them, it’s as easy as that.

The top 5 tracks will be selected Jan 25th, then will go to our forum at CAMOBEARDIGITAL.COM/FORUM where our community will vote on the top remix.

Winning remix will be featured on the groups Myspace as well as offered for sale as a digital MP3 on the Camobear website with you on the production credit.
