New Year, New Website, New Artists, New Albums
or… how we plan to get viral)
In these times of economic frailty, when independent record labels fold right, left and center; while majors get married to other majors so they can cry over profit loss together, it is a small Hanukkah miracle that a label like Camobear Records can even survive, let alone thrive and prosper. So how is it that we can expand our output, sign talented new artists and build a badass new website?
“Magic,” I say, magic!
In its 7th year of operations, the Camobear Roster includes many excellent artists; such international indie rap heavyweights as; Josh Martinez, The Chicharones, Moka Only,Evil Ebenezer, Tachichi, Snak the Ripper, Awol One and Onry Ozzborn (of Grayskul), and upcoming hotsteppers like The Let Go, The Insects, Abadawn and Young Sin, to name a few.
To top that all off, we are launching a brand new website atWWW.CAMOBEARDIGITAL.COM which will allow us to better showcase these artists and their endeavors. The new site features an integrated physical and digital store which enables us to spread news and music “quicker than a case of the clap on prom night”. Right now we have a huge New Year’s sale with bundle packages at unbeatable prices.
The store offers great deals on Camobear hoodies (the special warm sherpa style, with furry lining for all kinds of winter warmth), girls and mens shirts from Josh Martinez, Snak the Ripper, The Chicharones, Brass Tackz and Moka Only, as well as polos and even coffee mugs. The store will be constantly updated to have the latest in unique, once in a lifetime deals to feast on.
FREE THINGS – Currently you can find a brand new 2010 LABEL SAMPLER free on the site, a free download that offers a great way to get to know the current releases in our catalog as well as an upcoming Ebenezer joint, and honestly overall it’s just a dope collection of that good newness. There’s also The Chicharones Xmas single “Straight Out Of Noggin” for free download, as well a free Brass Tackz album, their debut EP “The Outfit”. This years schedule is packed with new releases by The Chicharones “Swine Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest’; Evil Ebenezer‘s new solo record “Evil Eye”; The Let Go‘s sophomore release “Morning Comes” and a brand new Josh Martinez“Diablo EP” produced by legendary skuzzbucket Stuey Kubrick and many others from our family of perverted miscreants.
