Check out the newest video from Sapient’s self-released album Tusks! for the song “Inglorious Days”. A short dark and shadow filled walk through an alley with a lot of back up. To top it all off Sapient gets down to 8-bit’s with his Mario moustache near the end.
This song is from a brand new Chicharones album due out in Early 2012. Banker’s Bonanza was written in 2008 shortly after the financial meltdown started. It has remained a relevant song, but the recent #OccupyWallSt Movement has helped catapult this issue to the forefront of the world’s conscience.

The video for this instrumental track was written and directed by Portland filmmaker Tim Slusarczyk and hosts something of a fractured, off-center story arc. Is it about drugs? Sad dudes with beards? Inner demons and moldy ceilings? Maybe. Maybe not.
“Many One” is just the first video to come from “Tusks!,” the initial album in the “Eaters” series, which I liken to Madlib’s “Beat Konducta” records, only filtered through a vision of Ratatat-esque indie rock sprinkled with boom-bap power. Enjoy!
